The Spanish island of Ibiza has two very distinct personalities. One side of Ibiza is the fabled party playground, ripe with all-night dance clubs and bars that stay filled with fun lovers year round.

The other face of the island is a serene and verdant paradise covered with fragrant pine trees, rocky shorelines, and beautiful beaches. Despite its infamous reputation as a place that would make Las Vegas blush, there is more than one way to enjoy and appreciate this beautiful Balearic Island.

Tourism is the bread and butter of Ibiza. Therefore, lodging options on the island are varied and plentiful. The lodging market is dominated by vacation rentals, which offer guests the ability to feel completely at home while visit the island. There are also plenty of hotels and bed and breakfast inns of varying degrees of price and luxury from which to choose.

The nightlife is the main attraction for most visitors to Ibiza. If that’s not your thing, or you want to experience another side of the island, there is plenty to see and do on Ibiza.

Go on a boating excursion and relax while floating on the beautiful Mediterranean waters. Go snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, and more on the water.

The summer months are when Ibiza is at its most crowded and chaotic. The weather is hot, and so is the club scene. The rest of the year still sees plenty of action, but the crowds are thinner.

These are the times to visit, if you tend to be claustrophobic. The weather is still warm and sunny, and you will have plenty of room on the beaches. Hotel rates are lower then, too.
