Being in such close proximity to all of the Disney magic, however, does not take away from the authenticity of your stay at the Lodge. It does not hurt that there are more than 200 African animals roaming on the savannah that runs along much of the property!
The employees are largely from African nations, and are more than happy to speak to you about their native nations. The decor is faithful, and the attention to detail is staggering.
